What I Do: I help convenience retailers, distributors and manufacturers uncover the real value they create for customers, market it in a differentiated way, and grow sales by getting them to always “ask for the order.”
Why I Do It: I love the convenience industry, and believe differentiated marketing is THE OPPORTUNITY for the industry to grow sales and margins in the next 10 years. It’s the only way to compete in an industry now under assault by competitors who didn’t exist 10 years ago.
Interesting Stuff: I started working for my grandfather’s retail greenhouse and florist at age six and 10 cents an hour. In my free time, I am a budding playwright.
